After School Program and Out-of-Session Days

After School Program and Out-of-Session Days

Metro Media is proud to offer both an After School Program as well as Out-of-Session Days for students in need of a place to go outside of school hours.

After School Media Club

The Metro Media Institute After School Media Club is a program that gives students from 2nd to 9th grade a place to work on homework after school as well as take classes in a variety of subjects.

We also offer transportation from the schools to the institute, free with registration.

The After School Media Club is held Monday through Friday from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m.

From 3-5 p.m. students will have the opportunity to work on homework and other school-related activities
Then from 5-6:30 p.m., they will be able to participate in one of a number of art, media, or technology-related workshops.

Snacks provided!

Workshop Schedule

Tuesday: Graphic Design
Wednesday: Movie Making and Editing

Out-of-Session Days

Our Our-of-Session Days give students a fun place to go when school isn't in session.

Whenever school is off, students can come here for a fun, enriching and educational day.

Please note that we follow the Scotch Plains-Fanwood School District schedule.

Register

Registration for both programs is done on a monthly basis. You can register as far in advance as you would like but you must register for a specific month at least a week before the 1st of that month.

Please note that we follow the school schedule for the Scotch Plains-Fanwood School District and therefore will not be holding the After School Media Club on days when school is not in session.
